Join us for an exciting tour that will take you to the Saguenay Region where you will encounter and observe whales in their natural habitat. You will also walk through the streets of the oldest and the most flourishing Canadian city – Quebec City.You will visit the country’s cultural capital - city of Montreal and enjoy the breathtaking views of the Charlevoix Region.

Day 1

Departure from Toronto. En route, you’ll learn about history, geography, culture and traditions of Canada.  Stopover in the restaurant “The Big Apple” where you can try their famous homemade pies and pastries.

Checking into the hotel in Quebec-City. Night walking tour of the Old town. Checking into a hotel-spa located at the bottom of Mont St. Anne.

Day 2

Tour of Quebec-City, the capital of the province of Quebec. In 2011 the city had a population of 516,622, and the metropolitan area had the population of 765,706, making it the second most populous city in the province of Quebec after Montreal. It is the oldest city of the Canada.  It was founded by Samuel de Champlain on July 3, 1608.

During our tour, we’ll visit the Plains of Abraham where the crucial battle of the Canadian history took place in 1759.  We'll do the walking tour of the Upper and Lower town and see the major highlights of the Old city, such as Place d’Armes, the Post Office, Basilica Notre-Dame-de-Quebec, oldest parochial church of the continent, Petit Champlain – the artisans’ quarter, Place Royale, the oldest square in Canada.

In the afternoon – walking tour of Canyon St. Anne, which is famous for its beauty and receives thousands of visitors each year. We’ll walk three suspension foot bridges that cross the canyon, including one 60 metres (197 feet) above the river.  Many scenic overlooks will allow you to discover giant potholes and other cascades.

The Canyon is a part of Canadian Shield and dates back to a Precambrian Age (about 1 billion years ago). Return to the hotel. 

Day 3

Departure for the Whale Watching cruise.  Drive through the Charlevoix region of Quebec.  The region includes parts of the north shore of the St. Lawrence River and the Laurentian Mountains region of the Canadian Shield.  The dramatic landscape includes rolling terrain, fjords, headlands and bays; the region was designated a World Biosphere reserve by UNESCO in 1989. 

During the Whale Watching cruise, we’ll admire the giants of the sea along with some other marine mammals in their natural summer habitat while listening to the explanations of a professional guide and admiring the beauty of the rugged and impressive landscape.

In the evening, return to the hotel.

Day 4

Departure from the hotel. Tour of the Basilica of St. Anne-de-Beaupre.  It is an important Catholic sanctuary, which receives about half-million pilgrims each year. Here, St. Anne, is believed, by the pious, to obtain miracles through her intercession.

Basilica is also famous for its architecture, paintings, mosaics and wooden and stone sculptures.   

Departure for Montreal, second largest city of Canada. Free time in Downtown Montreal. In the evening, return to Toronto.

The price of the tour per person, in a double room: $995 CAD.

The extra cost for a single room: $330 CAD.

The tour price includes: transportation in a comfortable bus, hotel accommodations (3 nights), 3 breakfasts, sightsee-ing with a professional licensed Russian-speaking guide, entrance tickets, “Whale Watching” cruise, Canyon Ste. Anne,taxes.

The tour cost does not include: lunches, dinners, personal expenses, tips to the driver and the guide, cancellation and medical insurance.
