Day 1 (Oct. 14, Wednesday) — Beijing
Arrival in Beijing — the capital of China since 1421 (Ming Dynasty) and the country’s main political center to this day. A city with over 3,000 years of history, home to the legacy of Imperial China.
Airport transfer to the hotel. Check-in and rest after the flight.
Evening walking tour of Beijing. Dinner at the hotel.

Day 2 (Oct. 15, Thursday) — Beijing | The Imperial Heart of China
Breakfast at the hotel. Guided sightseeing tour of Beijing’s historic center (coach and walking).
Visit to Tiananmen Square — one of the largest public squares in the world.
Explore the Forbidden City — the largest imperial palace complex in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Built in the 15th century, it served as the residence of 24 emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties.
Visit the Temple of Heaven (UNESCO) — a masterpiece of sacred architecture where emperors performed rituals to ensure the prosperity of the state.
Return to the hotel. Dinner at the hotel.

Day 3 (Oct. 16, Friday) — Beijing | The Great Wall of China
Breakfast at the hotel. Excursion to the Great Wall of China — one of the most iconic symbols of world civilization and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Visit the Mutianyu section — the most scenic and well-preserved part of the Wall. Construction began in the 3rd century BC, and its total length exceeds 21,000 km, making it the most extensive defensive structure in human history.
Cable car ascent and descent.

Return to the hotel. Dinner at the hotel.

Day 4 (Oct. 17, Saturday) — Beijing | Imperial Lifestyle and Traditions
Breakfast at the hotel. Visit to the Summer Palace (UNESCO) — the 18th-century imperial retreat featuring China’s largest man-made lake and the famous Long Corridor stretching over 700 meters.
Walk through the hutongs — historic residential neighborhoods where traditional ways of life are still preserved.
Tea ceremony and introduction to Chinese tea culture, with a history spanning more than 2,000 years.
Dinner at the hotel.
Overnight in Beijing.
Day 5 (Oct. 18, Sunday) — Beijing → Nanjing
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the railway station.
High-speed train to Nanjing (approx. 1,050 km; 3h 50m – 4h 30m).
Nanjing is one of China’s most significant historical capitals, having served as the capital of the Six Dynasties, the first capital of the Ming Empire, and later the capital of the Republic of China in the 20th century.
Walk through the Confucius Temple area and along the Qinhuai River embankment.
Dinner at the hotel.
Overnight in Nanjing.
Day 6 (Oct.19, Monday) — Nanjing → Shanghai
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning sightseeing in Nanjing:
Visit to the Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum — dedicated to the founder of the Republic of China.
Explore the Ming Dynasty City Wall — one of the longest surviving ancient city walls in the world.
Transfer to Shanghai by high-speed train (approx. 300 km; 1h 10m – 1h 40m).
Arrival in Shanghai — the financial capital of China, which emerged as the country’s leading commercial center in the early 20th century and firmly established this status following the economic reforms of the 1990s. Check-in at the hotel.
Evening walk along the Bund — the iconic waterfront lined with colonial-era architecture and offering panoramic views of Pudong’s futuristic skyline.
Dinner at the hotel.

Day 7 (Oct. 20, Tuesday) — Shanghai | Old and New China
Breakfast at the hotel. City sightseeing tour of Shanghai.
Visit to Yuyuan Garden — a 16th-century classical Chinese garden, a masterpiece reflecting the philosophy of harmony between nature and architecture.
Walk through the Old Town.
The Former French Concession — a charming district of European-style architecture and tree-lined boulevards.
Pudong — an ultra-modern financial district with striking skyscrapers, symbolizing China’s economic miracle.
Dinner at the hotel.
Overnight in Shanghai.
Day 8 (Oct. 21, Wednesday) — Shanghai → Suzhou → Shanghai
Breakfast at the hotel. Coach excursion to Suzhou (approx. 100 km).
Suzhou — a city with over 2,500 years of history and the cultural heart of the Jiangnan region.
Visit to the Classical Gardens of Suzhou (UNESCO World Heritage Site), considered the pinnacle of traditional Chinese garden design.
Walk along the canals and through the Old Town.
Visit to the Silk Museum and introduction to the craft that brought China worldwide fame.
Return to Shanghai. Dinner at the hotel.
Overnight in Shanghai.
Day 9 (Oct. 22, Thursday) — Shanghai → Hangzhou → Shanghai
Breakfast at the hotel. Coach excursion to Hangzhou.
Hangzhou — capital of the Southern Song Dynasty in the 12th–13th centuries and one of the wealthiest and most beautiful cities of the medieval world.
Visit to Xi Lake (UNESCO World Heritage Site), a benchmark of Chinese landscape aesthetics.
Longjing tea plantations — the birthplace of China’s most famous green tea.
Pagodas and scenic waterfront promenades.
Return to Shanghai. Dinner at the hotel.
Overnight in Shanghai.
Day 10 (Oct. 23, Friday) — Shanghai → Tongli → Shanghai
Breakfast at the hotel. Coach excursion to Tongli (approx. 80 km).
Tongli — often referred to as the “Venice of China,” with a history of more than 1,000 years.
Canals instead of streets, stone arch bridges, merchants’ houses, and boat rides along the waterways create the atmosphere of “Slow China,” largely unchanged since imperial times.
Return to Shanghai. Dinner at the hotel.

Day 11 (Oct. 24, Saturday) — Shanghai | Departure
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Shanghai airport for departure.
