Serbia is rich in historical monuments, including Kalemegdan Fortress in Belgrade, the Studenica Monastery (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), and historic cities such as Novi Sad, known for its unique fortress. These sites immerse visitors in the atmosphere of medieval and ancient times.
Serbs are famous for their warm hospitality. Serbian cuisine is a delicious mix of Balkan and Mediterranean traditions, with dishes such as ćevapi, sarma (baked meat rolls), and sweet treats like palačinke.

Day 1 — Belgrade
Arrival in Belgrade, the capital of Serbia, located at the confluence of the Sava and Danube rivers. The city is known for its energetic atmosphere, rich history, and mix of old and modern architecture.
Transfer to the hotel. Check-in. Free time to relax.
In the evening, take a walk along Knez Mihailova Street, the main pedestrian area surrounded by historic buildings, shops, and cafés. Nearby is Kalemegdan Fortress, an ancient citadel with panoramic views of the rivers’ confluence. Dinner and overnight in Belgrade.
Day 2 — Belgrade City Tour & River Cruise
After breakfast, enjoy a detailed tour of Belgrade:
Kalemegdan Fortress — a historic landmark over 2000 years old, featuring ancient ramparts, museum areas, and viewing terraces.
Pobednik (The Victor Monument) — a symbol of Belgrade, commemorating Serbia’s victories in the Balkan Wars.
St. Sava Temple — one of the largest Orthodox churches in the world, impressive in scale and white-stone architecture.
Skadarlija — the bohemian quarter reminiscent of late 19th-century Belgrade, with restaurants and traditional music.
Republic Square — the central square with the National Theatre and Prince Mihailo Monument.
In the evening, enjoy a Danube & Sava river cruise, offering a beautiful view of Belgrade from the water. Dinner and overnight in Belgrade.
Day 3 — Belgrade → Novi Sad → Sremski Karlovci → Belgrade
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Novi Sad (approx. 95 km / 1 hr 30 min).
Novi Sad — the cultural capital of Serbia, known for its multi-ethnic atmosphere. Its center blends Austro-Hungarian architecture with a relaxed lifestyle.
Freedom Square — the city’s heart, featuring the majestic Town Hall.
Name of the Virgin Mary Church — a Neo-Gothic Catholic cathedral, one of the city’s most recognizable symbols.
Petrovaradin Fortress — a huge fortress on the Danube, known for its underground tunnels and panoramic views.
Transfer to Sremski Karlovci (approx. 12 km / 20 min)
A small baroque town, an important center for spirituality and winemaking. Taste local wines, including the famous bermet.
Return to Belgrade (approx. 80 km / 1 hr 20 min). Dinner and overnight in Belgrade.
Day 4 — Belgrade → Golubac → Niš
Breakfast at the hotel. Check out and depart for Golubac (approx. 130 km / 2 hrs).
Golubac Fortress — one of Serbia’s most spectacular fortresses, located on the Danube at the entrance to the Iron Gates. The 14th-century castle impresses with towers seemingly growing out of the cliffs.
Transfer to Niš (approx. 170 km / 2 hrs 30 min)
One of Europe’s oldest cities, birthplace of Roman Emperor Constantine the Great. The city blends ancient heritage, Ottoman history, and Serbian modern character.
Check-in at the hotel. Dinner and overnight in Niš.
Day 5 — Niš → Skull Tower → Vrnjačka Banja
After breakfast, visit Skull Tower (Ćele Kula) — a unique monument built by the Ottomans from the skulls of Serbian rebels after the 1809 uprising; a symbol of the struggle for independence.
Stroll through the center of Niš, exploring Roman remains, the fortress, and lively cafés.
Transfer to Vrnjačka Banja (approx. 65 km / 1 hr 15 min)
Serbia’s leading spa town, known for its therapeutic thermal springs and well-maintained parks.
Check-in at the hotel. Dinner and overnight in Vrnjačka Banja.
Day 6 — Vrnjačka Banja → Žiča Monastery → Sirogojno → Zlatibor
After breakfast, depart to Žiča Monastery (approx. 25 km / 30 min)
A significant 13th-century Serbian monastery, red-colored, and the coronation site of the first Serbian kings.
Transfer to Sirogojno (approx. 85 km / 1 hr 30 min)
An open-air ethnographic museum preserving 19th-century village life, crafts, and traditions of mountain Serbia.
Transfer to Zlatibor (approx. 25 km / 35 min)
A popular mountain resort with a mild climate, pine forests, and clean air.
Check-in at the hotel. Dinner and overnight in Zlatibor.
Day 7 — Zlatibor → Drvengrad → Mokra Gora → Belgrade
After breakfast, depart for Drvengrad (Mećavnik) (approx. 25 km / 30 min)
An ethno-village built by director Emir Kusturica for the film Life is a Miracle, styled in traditional Serbian mountain architecture.
Transfer to Mokra Gora (approx. 10 km / 15 min)
Famous for the Šargan Eight narrow-gauge railway, winding through mountains and tunnels (optional ride).
Return to Belgrade (approx. 200 km / 3 hr 30 min)
Check-in at the hotel. Dinner and overnight in Belgrade.
Day 8 — Belgrade
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport for departure.
